What It Is
Sections is a SwiftUI editor for the carousels, collages and stories people post on Instagram. Instead of editing each slide separately, every slide sits side by side on one long canvas, so a photo or shape can run across the join between two slides — the effect that makes a carousel feel like one continuous image when swiped.
How It Works
- Home — saved projects and a gallery of ready-made layouts
- Editor — drag between slides and it snaps to the nearest one; add photos, text and shapes as layers; change the background, aspect ratio and number of slides
- Export — each slide exported separately, ready to post in order
Built For Every Screen
One codebase runs on iPhone, iPad (with multitasking) and Mac via Catalyst, in every orientation. It came out of my photography A-level: I wanted a faster way to lay out a series of images than the tools I was using.
